Yes. Third-party costs are fees charged by external providers for services such as cremations. Our funeral plans cover certain third-party costs, including cremation fees. Costs that aren’t included, such as officiant fees, must be paid separately.

A death that occurred in Cardiff must typically be registered in person at the Cardiff Register Office. Once the Register Office receives the necessary paperwork from the Medical Examiner or Coroner, it will email you with details on how to book an appointment.
Deaths must normally be registered within five days. If you have not received an email after the necessary paperwork has been issued, you can contact the Register Office for advice. The process and timescales may differ where the Coroner is involved.
Yes. Your funeral arranger can discuss the available crematorium options with you and help arrange the funeral at your preferred location, subject to availability and the type of service you choose. Cardiff Council operates Thornhill Cemetery and Cardiff Crematorium and offers cremation services through its chapels.
