A prepaid funeral plan covers the services and arrangements included in the plan you choose. As standard, our funeral packages in Bristol include collection of the deceased, a standard coffin, cremation fees and guidance from a Funeral Planner.
Personal touches and additional services, such as flowers, may not be included. We’ll explain clearly what your chosen plan covers and any extra costs that may apply.
A death that occurred in Bristol must typically be registered in person at the Bristol Register Office. Once the Register Office receives the necessary paperwork from the Medical Examiner or Coroner, it will email you with details on how to book an appointment.
Deaths must normally be registered within five days. If you have not received an email after the necessary paperwork has been issued, you can contact the Register Office for advice. The process and timescales may differ where the Coroner is involved.
